Hi Gem, all my other friends.

As promised on the other forum, I "copied and pasted a reading I did on myself, yesterday. (I don't normally trust readings I do for myself, but S**t this one was on the dot, each and every card!!!! I didn't alter or even change any of my interpritations or captions. Neither did i sum it up in a shorter or more expanded way.

Let me give you some background.

In business I have always been succesfull and never "failed" in acheiving profitability within the time period or as per my goals. We have one account which we need to pay but it's fairly big, we are being sued for our outstanding amount including an amount one of our employees had. Their argument is that we must pay and then sue this person who for the last two years is not working for us. Therefore i refused to pay until they rectify the matter. Now the sheriff attached some of our goods at our one restaurant.

We tendered to manage the bar and restaurant facility for the largest diamond mine in the world, there were 6 of us, two of us was identified to match their criteria. Our presentation was then done about ten days later, and took about 45 minitues, powerpoint based. One of the board directors is also a friend of mine. He says everything looks positive, the other person's presentation took 5 minutes.

Now, i look at these kind of opportunities positively but maintain the stance of; don't count your chickens before they hatch.

I am planning to also develop a Micropropation laboratory. (biological plant cell culture or cloning). We have isolated plants supplied by asiatica nursery in USA, to import. Microproping allows us to propegate thousands of plants from a small piece of growth node, each cell develops a entire new plant. You can read-up on the web; plant micropropation. I also hold a Master of Science, Botany degree.

As you know, I always include a significator;

Strangely the King of Swords, I normally come out as king of Pent.

This card only acts as representative of you, it might display some of your character traits or personality and perhaps your physical attributes

Ambition, strong will, authority, analytical intelligence, decisiveness and independent authority.

Card 1
Your present, This card covers you: Basis of situation, present influences, general atmosphere, state of mind, people & other influences now at work.

Wheel of Fonrtune(+)
Good luck, destiny, fortune. Success, an unexpected turn of events. Promotion or elevation. Victory or obstacles overcome by good fortune. Good luck, destiny, fortune. Success, an unexpected turn of events. Promotion or elevation. Victory or obstacles overcome by good fortune.

Card 2
This card strengthens or weakens the first card or the effects of the first one. It shows obstacles or ameliorating circumstances; events and situations which currently exist or are coming up in the immediate future; this will have a direct influence on the situation in question. If the card is favorable it will strengthen good influences if it is reversed or unfavorable it will negate or weaken positive attributes and strengthen negative influences.

Ace of Swords(-)
Your victory is premature and spells disaster for you, you most definitely abused the power given to you and the affects has already or will start showing soon. You rushed in with too much confidence and dotted here and there, you will start seeing the flaws. Your common sense has let you down because you did not consider the consequences correctly. Your action has brought strife and negative factors into your professional and personal life. The opposing forces within yourself will now be evident; care must be taken to at least maintain your dignity. This card also foretells sickness of you or someone close to you.

Card 3
This crowns you.
It describes your goals in this matter, and if it will be achieved at this time. This card explains your ideal aim, what you hope to accomplish in this situation and or the best that you can make happen under the circumstances—whether or not it is what you want. It also represents the immediate future, in that which the card describes is still to come.

Three of Pentacles (-)
You have tackled a project beyond your capabilities; this is not only in your business but also in your personal relationships. You touch and let go to the point where people no longer trust your word as it lacks that pure commitment and dedication. In this you are so preoccupied with pettiness that it actually clouds your ultimate goal. You need to acquire the needed skill and practical ability to complete what you have started. Focus your mind on that which you have, go back to the drawing board, design your future and don’t let your impatience get in your way.

Card 4
This is beneath you.
It describes the foundation under discussion; a specific event or different things happening in the immediate past which, because of their influence on you, are the reason, or direct cause of the situation you find yourself in.

Emperor (+)
Authority, accomplishment, worldly power, stability, wisdom, ambition, reasoned action. Leadership and ability to govern wisely. Compassion. Protection. Aid. Goals reached and won.

Card 5
This is behind you.
This gives the influence or set of circumstances that is busy happening now and will soon end; the situation which has just passed or is now in passing. In effect, events or circumstances in your past, as shown in the first few cards, created a general personal environment in which you were operating. This environment is now busy changing, either because you took steps to change it, or because some influence is forcing a change.

Seven of Cups (-)
It seems possible for you to achieve that which you have been hoping for. Your will to succeed is strong enough and well developed. You may or have already entered projects or planned something. These can now be seen as coming into reality with rewards matching your determination.

Card 6

This is before you.
This card describes the future influence or set of circumstances you can expect; the change in personal environment that either should (if you are advised what to do) or will (if you go with the flow) take place. The past described by card 5 is giving way to the new situation as a result to the actions you have taken.

Four of Cups (+)
There are times when everything matures; this is normally the time after the excitement in a new relationship, new endeavor or partnership. Not knowingly everybody enters this phase and suddenly comes to the realization; things around me are not as they were. In effect even you matured into the established success in your business or personal relationships. Inevitably you now consider this as stagnation and feel a sense of boredom. You are looking for something to get the adrenalin flowing again. You are actually looking for something fresh and it is in the offing. Because you grew into the success around you, it is impossible for you to recognize the good in your life, in fact you are disappointed with what you’ve achieved. Consider ways to rejuvenate your own situation, bring that initial spark back and develop your relationship or future. You need to re-evaluate your life and realize that you can create the better offer, with that which you have. In fact you are able to achieve even greater things.

Card 7
This is you.
This card represents you. In general it puts you in perspective in terms of the circumstances of the reading. It shows your stance or attitude towards yourself or towards your situation. It also reveals how you are likely to behave or react in this situation.

Ten of Wands (+)
You have the fortune, gain and success but, for  you it also brought unhappiness. This is due to having too many things to handle at once. Your work has become a burden and may give rise to uncertainties in your business. If you stand your ground against possible difficulties and circumstances you will be the victor. The fact that you are working harder than normal, is causing your family life to suffer, however this is only temporary and if you force some quality time, a positive change will be evident.

Card 8
This is your house.
This card represents your environment, or surroundings, in this situation; that which is going on around you at this time. It shows your effect on people especially those close to you, or closely involved with you, it also shows your general effect on events. More importantly, it shows what kind of effect, other people or events, has on you, what they are doing and how they are reacting and what their intentions are regarding a situation or in these circumstances.

Six of Pentacles (-)
You are aware of the hidden traps of debt, but blindly fell into them. To envy those that made provisions for such situations is not going to help you but only add to your frustration. The recognition that others have is putting you in a sulking mode and whatever you do, is all to hold on to the little money you have. Your finances fluctuate from good, to bad, to virtual bankruptcy. You will or are already in the clutches of the downward spiral and it seems as if there is just not enough money to even make a decent living. However this is temporary.

Card 9
This card reveals your inner thoughts about a situation; it shows how you feel about people, events and circumstances surrounding you at this time including your feelings about yourself and your chances of success or failure.
You need to understand 2 things clearly.
First. The card describes how you feel, not what has happened, is happening or will happen. Not everyone’s emotional perspective is always right. Your reaction may be reasonable given the current set of circumstances, but it could also be entirely wrong!!(Not being able to see the forest from the trees).
Second. This card still affects the final outcome, whether your emotional perspective is correct or wrong. As an example, if you have to take action, but is afraid to, how positive or successful the card predicts, a big possibility you will still fail, because you can’t make the change or move.

Two of Pentacles (-)
Your financial planning and implementation, lacks the proper balance. The troubles ahead are not calculated risks. You put yourself in such a vulnerable position that you may start receiving legal notices and may expect legal action against you. The resources you have, are insufficient to be able to finance and maintain the project you are in or are planning. Your ability to handle more than one thing at this time is doubtful and most probably ill-conceived.  Find your balance and maintain your status quo, rather than losing more than you should.

Card 10
Final outcome.
This is the result. It reveals what will happen or is going to happen; the culmination which will result from the influences shown by all the other cards in the reading. If this card is a Minor Arcana Court Card, it represents a person, who holds the key to the realization of all things predicted.

Eight of Swords (-)
Don’t expect your problems to be over, there are still chances of some bad luck. However, you are able to withstand the attacks on you. The bonds holding you will slowly fall away and you will have release and freedom.

Card 11
This card should  supports the tenth card to clarify the reading. If the final outcome is a Major Arcanum, this card does not need to be drawn. If the reading is still unclear it is best to start again. Readings should not be repeated in the same sitting more than three times, if it happens, your  Querent may be very confused or the question asked will not be answered, other important issues are being dealt with.

Queen of Swords (+)
You are or will be entering a period of sadness with quarrels and disputes all around you. These situations are created by a nasty person, a rival. You may have also lost someone dear to you and are now mourning or will do so in the future. Your strength lies in your self-confidence to overcome these obstacles.

These following cards are read positive only!!

Card 12:
Advise on altering your mindset, to be a positive influence throughout the reading but specifically regarding card 9.

Queen of Pentacles
A kind and generous woman, an excellent and careful manager, with both intelligence and intuitive knowledge. Like the King, she may either favor you, or she may be indifferent. She is attractive and very persuasive; she knows how to get her own way, not through feminine wiles, but simply because she knows what she’s doing. If not a person, the card represents security, wisdom and prudence, financial security.

Card 13:
Advice on altering your house to be a pillar of strength in your current situation, influencing card 8

King of Wands
A man of status and wealth who is friendly toward you and willing to help you with either money or advice. He is conscientious, honest and intelligent. If he is your rival, he will be fair and generous. If a friend, you are well advised to take this persons advice. If not a person, the situation itself is an honest one: things appear as they are. There is also a possibility of unexpected good news, maybe an inheritance, a career advance, success in an ongoing or upcoming business venture. Unexpected help or advise which will make your venture easier.

Card 14:
Advice on altering the way you contemplate that which you are doing, and positively influencing card 7

Magician
Strength of will, intuition, self control, self-confidence, autonomy, diplomacy. The positive qualities of humankind: skill, initiative, intelligence, discernment, and comprehension; freedom from control by others. All leading to success and the ability to control your environment.

Gem, I can tell you that the way these cards are packed mirrors exactly how things are, or may deviate slightly.

Fortunately it is possible for us to approach each matter confidently and have a good idea how to sidestep obsticals.

Blessed be

Awwww Paye, that is such a harsh interpretation!!  Especially the Ace of Swords, that is a great card, full of hope and new opportunities, but you use it so negatively :(  The Courts too they can indicate personalities, changes that you can make or need to help not people not always people, that is a misunderstanding.

Don't you try and give any light in your readings, they are so down and written from a cold place. Where is the inspirationt, the enlightenment the hope?

Hi Gem,

The cards interpritations is an backbone, these i posted are only the basic meanings as such. From here I would write a conclusion which, if you look at my other readings isn't cold or distanced at all.

I opened with the King of Swords as sign. I fit his description, not phisically, but my personality, and closed with the Queen of Swords and used it as a circumstance. The reading I did was absolute copy and paste, that is why you would get the full interpritation as derived at. I always see how things fit toghether and then only give the summary!!

Behind the name of each card you'll see a + or minus, this gives upright or reversed. Ace of Swords is reversed.

In this sense I wouldn't even do a summary, it's on myself and I know how I interprited the cards.

Aces
Everything in life has a cycle, a clearly defined beginning and an end. With the Aces, they are the initial idea which hasn’t come to fruition yet. You can almost say they are the seed planted in the fertile soil. The raw power of nature is now starting its magick, to germinate the seed and bring it into this world. We can also look at the birth of a child, enormous amounts of energy is used by both the mother and the baby, leaving both exhausted. The experience, life threatening. Look at natural disasters, landslides or glaciers. The root force may have been inconspicuous, but the resultant power exuded, untamed, unstoppable.
It’s almost befitting to say “life is a rollercoaster- enjoy the ride” only here, you better make sure you hold on and tight as well, because the forces operating here are in the mundane world as well as in the spiritual world. In taming these forces, you take hold of your future and can steer yourself to success as never before.
Your ideas are clear and motivated, it hasn’t yet been influenced by any positive or negative circumstances, in other words you are looking forward with a clinical attitude, and your planning is done in the purest form.
We can also relate the Ace to the Magician, he is the centre of the universe, and he has control over the beginning, creative power. When we look at the cards we can see that all of them is surrounded or underlined with fertile ground from which new growth is sprouting.
The significance of these cards as the beginning of which nothing can exist without an end being portrayed by the Yods. Here movement from above to below, mirroring the Magician, therefore as above so below. Boaz and Jachin. The beginning is the end, and the end is the beginning.

Aces are therefore a contradictory statement. In essence they are the spark, the start of something not yet manifested; Yod is translated to ten in Cabalistic literature and Aleph being one. Yet ten is reduced to one in numerology. Numerology is sometimes seen as being the alternative to Tarot. One is timeless and limitless, whereas ten is the manifestation of the spark and therefore limited.

The Ace of Swords (Upright)
Symbolism:
Golden Crown:  Victory, attainment.
Roses: Spiritual righteousness.
Upturned Sword: Conviction to truth, confidence.
Six Yods: Falling to the ground symbolising the start or spark of a unlimited and not yet manifestation of reality in the third dimension.

Element: Air               Direction: South  Season: Autumn                                Zodiac: First quarter of Aries
Comparative to THE MAGICIAN.

Card description.
A single broadsword gripped firmly by a hand extending from a cloud, in some decks a fertile landscape with hills are also displayed, there are also drops of rain falling to the ground symbolizing the beginning of growth

Meaning: “By my might, I did it!!

This victory card stands for triumph and conquest by force, physically and intellectually. Physically you won the battle over obstacles; intellectually you outsmarted those around you. Your mind is sharper and clearer, giving you tremendous power in all areas of your life. Force of will, force of position or circumstances. This victory can be in any area of your life, profession, love and money. You attained that high position and you are or will soon taste that euphoria in whichever endeavor you were engaged in. In the Ace of Swords it seems as if you started where others have finished. Everything linked to this card can be seen as in the excessive degree.

Positive
This card stands for triumph, prosperity, conquest, fertility. Intellectual fulfillment. The birth of a new idea or a new Endeavour. Tremendous power now available, or used. May also indicate the birth of a child.

You have really pushed and shoved hard, used your force of will and influence to get to where you are now, you made sure that you employed your common sense to determine, not only your, but also other peoples lives in a positive way. You have the edge and conviction to use your new found power in a righteous way. Now is the best time also to start that new idea you are or were pondering.

The reader must put the card meanings in context with the spread regarding past, present and future!!

Negative                                                                                                                                                                 Disastrous results to your victory, you have still won, but soon or if not already, you whish you never won, now is the time where you are going to enter into, or already have, very tense relations, and emotional conflicts with yourself and with others. Over confidence. Self destruction.

If it was possible for me to attach each cards interpritation, I would. I would just need to exclude the graphics. You'l see that everything is not only neg.

Blessed be

Hi Gem,
I agree a reading is a snapshot, even so, when I have a seeker in front of me, I never refer to the LWB, they immediately question your abilities. So they are very happy in waiting till tomorrow.

Remeber, I do give them a oversight, but don't cast it in concrete. I scratch around, sometimes the answers are scrambled eggs!!

In the same sense, i link every card to the Zodiac, sometimes dates are easy to derive at, this however, I never give the seeker or even let them know I do it, too risky!!! I just sit on the side to see the developments, i'm seldom wrong!!

The first time I predicted a date, I was actually shaking, how worried i was!! and Bang, I predicted the late afternoon wednesday or early morning Thursday. It happened eight o'clock thursday morning----that is scary!!! You'll probably freak, I gave the answer because i beleive i'm never wrong, took that risk boldly and now it's my property, I just decided not to do it anymore, don't like the stress, the poor Querant, shame!!

You remember I wanted to post the meanings of the minors long ago, I don't want to post on learn Tarot, if it's ok i'll do one by one so that new scholars not get confused. Also I will take out the graphics as it is not necesary to include 4 different images of the same card.

I would like to show you the format in which i do readings and interpritations.

I'm trying to get the Ace attached as the doc. and not only the meanings, helter scelter.

Blessed be

How do I begin with a significator? Do I pickout the card most like me, or do I randomly pick out a card?
I don't use a significator but often books suggest to. What should I think about choosing and using a significator?
