Hi sammy.marie,
Your question has actually already been discussed on a lengthy thread.
But, in answering your question: You can reserve people not handling your deck, in fact a lot of Readers prefer it this way. However you then consentrate on the question they have in mind, or if they just need a general reading.
Personally, I allow the seeker to also shuffle, although I clean my cards very often by smuddjing. After every reading, i put my cards in sequence and remove the energies as best i can.
Blessed be

Welcome Sammy.Marie,
It is New Year's Day so Happy New Year to you, many people read posts but only a few will respond, its only been up about 6 hours too lol! And half the world is still sleeping
It's entirlely up to you if you do not let people touch your cards, but what worries me more is that you seem to be using this as a block to your reading? Perhaps if you are lacking the confidence to tell seekers not to touch, and don't know how to proceedand connect otherwise then should you really be considering reading for them at all? Giving readings online may solve your problem, obviously there is no way people can touch distantly. This really is a very basic thing, I am wondering what is the beginning of this problem?

its not that i lack the confidence to let others touch my cards, its more that this is my very first deck of cards and i have connected with them so well. i feel i have built a relationship with them , and i don't want that to be jepordized. at the same time, i do want to give friends and family readings. so i was trying to figure out the best possible solution to keep my cards "just for me", but also help them. i picked this deck out knowing it would be only handled by me. i plan on getting another deck that others will be able to handle. but until then, i need advice on how to use my deck without letting others touch it.

Ahhh, that makes it slightly clearer I wonder what makes you think that anyone has to touch your cards at all? Many readers don't let people touch, shuffle or breathe over their cards. The deck does not need to be touched ever by anyone but you Although many readers allow the seeker to shuffle and cut the deck so that they feel they are a part of things, its truly not necessary at all. Just by being f2f with someone and concentrating on them and their question should give the cards evough to go on.
