I am not married to my deck (RW by the way) but sometimes I let the querent touch and shuffle them and sometimes not. Depends how I feel at the moment. I dont know about 'cleaning' or 'dowsing' them... I would like someome to give his/her inputs on those issues.

However, if you like giving readings and hence be of help to your fellow human beings, then I would suggest you rid yourself of these chains and limitations of touching or not touching. The cards are just the means, the tools, but what comes by looking at them is YOUR OWN... concentrate on the WITHIN and you can always buy another deck.

People says all sorts about buying or being given tarot cards. I bought my own when I felt this inner interest. I wouldnt want any one else to buy me another set which I may not like to work with. I agree with Pirbid, there is no one particular site which shows all the 78 pictures of other decks unless you buy one.

Hallo! I had a good look at the aeclectic Tarot page and they certainly have good info and pics there. I have decided to get the Guilded because the images are so beautiful I cannot stop looking at them and I believe querents would also enjoy seeing spreads done with it.

When it arrives, I will begin the course from scratch, even if I do not post it, since I am already following it with the RW and comparing with some other decks (yours and mine).

I can understand (and remember) the thrill of handling my very first deck, Sammie-marie. You will soon outgrow the feeling of awe, probably as soon as you get another (and, if you are anything like me, another and another...). You will probably choose one to read from in general and keep the rest to yourself, or maybe the other way around: one for yourself and the rest for others.
