My sister recently had a reading.  While asking questions, she drew 2 cards from one deck (round) and 2 from another deck (playing card size deck).  One of the cards that came up from the second deck was the "Shroud".  The person doing the reading would not tell her the significance of the card and said not to worry about it.  Said she wouldn't discuss it.

The reading overall was excellent, but my sister is very bothered by this card and that the person would not tell her the meaning.  Can anyone help?

Hi, I hate reading posts like this, it really puts tarot readers to shame!

The first deck was almost certainly The Motherpeace deck which is the best known circular deck, the other sounds a religious deck with the Shroud, and isn't one I am familiar with. can you tell me anything else about the deck?

Please tell your sister not to worry. The use of the two cards makes me feel that the reader was not professionally trained and was giving a more commercial reading than real tarot reading which usually uses a spread formation. Why not get your sister to join and request a free reading? Or yourself? We have many talented readers that offer their time here for free. A good tarot reader would not have left her worried or confused, but rather enlightened and empowered

I would be more bothered by the reader then the cards themselves! I agree whole-heartedly with Gem. There is absolutely NO reason why that reader wouldn't have explained everything about the reading. Especially if your sis is putting down the money for her to do that reading. At that point in time it is HER JOB. The only "reasonable" (and I use that loosely) that she wouldn't talk about that particular card is that she (the reader) didnt know what it meant.

Without knowing the deck I couldn't begin to give you even the basic key meanings, just by the title though I would think it would have to do with something is hidden or unknown to your sis right now. MAYBE even that she sees it but none to clearly to make it out, as if it is covered in mist.

I would demand my money back at the end of that reading too!
