Yes, should really think in doing so, would love a wine-red and gold embroidered silk. A good friend of mine does embroidering with machines. Will do the design(fortunately little bit artistic).

Yes looking at those tables, possibly for the camera only, but still very nice. I think my querants will get the fright of their lives when I start "Voodoing" around them. They are normally ***t scared anyway? I burn candles and incence at my one shop, and only that meets with a few frowns and sets me apart as a satanist.

Like you guys, and I am not ashamed to admit, I do it anywhere... on the carpet, on the desk, on the kitchen table and sometimes in bed.
I have come only recently to ask the tarot or the Universe to give me the ability to interpret the cards for the best possible guidance to the querent.
I dont do the candles and stuff, but Payewacker's table pictures are really wonderfu..
wouldnt mind a tray like that myself.

You see, I have nothing of the sort, heavy to carry around, with 3 packs of cards, my partner has another two packs, to still carry crystals etc. would be like dragging a steel ball. Also where we stay, Tarot is seen as demonic, people are very narrow minded.

The interesting thing is, I would get annonamous telephone calls asking for readings, and then it would be these people that would vehemantly shun Tarot. Small Town, me very controvertial, know everybody or at least 90%. When they phone I recognise their voice. Maintain the secrecy, and voila, they are happy following the advice.LOL

So them, remotely comming to my house, is absolutely out of the question.

Still, I found them a bit tiny myself. You see, instead of the standard shuffling, I cherish the method of really putting the deck back into absolute chaos -which I picked years ago from one of my favorite authors- by spreading the whole deck face down on a big, hopefully clean, surface and messing around with it like a child playing in the sand. I find it relaxing -if a bit dizzying with the back designs dancing around- and I like my seekers doing it in order to give the whole deck their energy in that moment. I know many people don't believe in letting others touch their decks, but I never found any problem associated to it. In fact, I wonder how to get a seeker's input when doing a reading here, for example.

Anyway, I'm getting carried off elsewhere... What I mean is that I love the visual impact of those tables, but when I need to do a reading, I look for the biggest, flatest surface available to me and, if in company, the most comfortable one for both -usually a 120cm round table with a felt cover-. Since I use that wonderful table for other things as well, I find it not practical to carry lots of other things to it as well, although it might be a good idea to light some candles and have a bowl of crystals somewhere nearby -but far from our playful hands-.

Don't see the need to be ashamed of making the most of our available surfaces.
