Hi Guys ,

After two absent days, away on bussiness, back to irretate everybody again, Gem , in anyway, felt like a lifetime, feels as if i aged 100 years.

I live in a town where peak hour is about 15 cars and a few trucks, we went to jhb, 600 kilometers (very, very far). Remember we see a 100 km's as to much already.

I'm so exited, bought myself the Witches tarot kit, , so different? Gem, or anyone help!!

One problem, the way in which i interprited is not going to match!! So, will in the mean time stick to RW.

Although I did the blessing and smudging still just feel totally uncomfortable with the deck!!! Like the images but thats about all!!!!!!?

Blessed be

Welcome back

You do mean the Witches tarot by Ellen Cannon Reed? Or the Tarot of the Witches by Fergus Hall?

Which one, what drew you to it and why, and why dont you like it?

Hi Gem,

The witches tarot by ellen canon reed.

I think that it is possibly the approach, I gleaned over the book and it just seemed to not gell with RW, my approach is more that of Waite, I wanted to also get the Thoh, but decided against it. Will get it next time.

But also I must say that I was fairly tired after my trip and fell asleep to quick. Today i'm fuzzy because took double of medications, "spacy"?

It seemed as if the approach is not so pragmatic and perhaps a bit like the Qabala, a wriddle withih a question and the answer a mystic interpritation of the macro and microcosms.

Maybe it can also be because i've only started on the Qabala and the Yewish alphabet. It's just as if I can't fit in at this point?

It may grow on me sometime, don't know when. I actually thought of reading them as i do the RW, but then the direction of the people were helter scelter, although I beleive it was done with a specific reason,  Another point which immediately caught my attention is the fact that not only is strength and justice swopped  but justice is no 10 and wheel of fortune no 11.

It is also sometimes difficult for me to look beyond pigeonholing events.

Blessed be

This deck is very Kabbalah based. I must say a strange choice of deck for you Payewacker! I didn't think that you had any witchy or pagan ties? What made you choose it again?

Hi Gem,
I live the Wiccan way, and do magick, but not intesively. Huh, was brandished as a Satanist in our little town, one of my emplyees stole spells from my table, heavy duty S*** after this, even had the police rock up at my restaurant, the people still think we pray over the food or place curses on it, they tried to boycott my bussiness, but as luck would have it, we are actually expanding (the rule of three) I think you know very well how we freak when the S and D words are being used!!!!

The Witches Tarot was actually my partners choice. He hasn't really warmed up to Tarot as yet, I bought it to see how it fits toghether, I must say, I don't like it and maybe my partner will get confused, remember he has been around me all the time and learnt a little about my methods. Yea, so maybe it will just be a nice to have deck.

Blessed be
Withces Tarot.
