I am a recent convert. I usually don't believe in supernatural. But i seem to have a feeling about tarot. The problem is that i don't have a deck. so i was wondering, what is the effectiveness of using tarot software against using real tarot cards?

about the electronic tarot ,,, I can tell you that I use it for a long time ago , and I really find it very usefull  ,
I use A program named Orphalese for allready 5 years .
I can`t tell you how it works , because the conservatives , will tell you that your energies are not impregned in the  cards , but after i`ve used this program for soooo many readings , i CAN TELL YOU that electronic program for tarot work.
I use to concentrate in the question , during the shuffle
when I  fill that its ok ...I stop and open the spread that I want from hundreds of spreads that are in the memory some of them invented by myself , and some of them my friends recomended them to me.

Thanks for the answer guys. Do you know any other software? Aside from the one already available on Mystic Board? and can i just use , say excel, for randomizing the list and see cards, will that be enough?

I have used the tarot programme you can download from here, and I just downloaded the Orphalese programme. (Thanks for the tip!)

Whereas a physical deck does give you a more tactile feeling when reading, the electronic programmes are almost as good. Many readers use the cards as a focus and use their own psychic ability/intuition to make the reading. In that respect it probably doesn't make much difference what you use.

As with all aspects of mysticism, if it works for you, go with it!
