I did a quick relationship reading on my own and I was wondering if I could get some insight from others based on the cards that I drew. I drew 5 cards. The first represented me, the second the girl that I have feelings for. The third card represents what is connecting us at the moment. Then the last two were possible outcomes of our relationship in the long run.

1: Ten of Swords
2: Ten of Cups
3: The Lovers
4: Eight of Cups
5: Ace of Cups

I have my own interpretation on the reading but I really would appreciate another persons opinion. One thing that I dont understand is the Lovers. How is this connecting us when were just friends. I dont know if she has feelings for me like I do her. Some days she flirts with me, and some days she just acts like my friend. I am in a confused state need some help with the overall outlook on the reading.

The Lovers is not all about being 'lovers' it is an archetype that signifies many things. In the Rider Waite deck it can be taken to mean many things, and only one of them is a sexual relationship. In older decks it can mean choosing between one partner or another, sometimes it shows a relationship in the future or the past, the angel above can signify asking for permission or asking for approval before a relationship. There are many takes on this card depending on where in the spread it is.

You have 3 cups, so water, emotions and feelings, and one sword so a bit of strife, and one major that rules this area of readings, not bad really

I speak for myself and can't include all the other guys also passionate about Tarot. For us to really expand would be a bit difficult and I would refrain from doing so anyway.

It's all about being a reader, you should know that if you do a reading, you have your own sets of interpritations. I had it before where a friend of mine also a reader, would ask exactly the same scenario. Although she has already done the readings.

What transpired she would sit and ask for maybe ten differing qeustions, but, when i interpret, she would have her books around and then confuse herself, myself and it was a chaotic scene. Eventually I plainly refused to read for her and still would'nt do it!!

So, to avoid any such confusion, you should perhaps plainly ask for a reading and forget your interpritations.
