When I do readings I always use the CC. Interestingly the positions 1-10 are ruled by a specific major arcanum card. Now the numbered cards explain "mundane" situations you encounter in everyday life. The royals people or events or both.

So then what you need to look at is the hebrew alphabet, 1=a living organism consisting of non-living cells, 2=the split of an amoeba.(for ease of explanation). Therefore each letter describes a process in being from Aleph to Yod, or a biological process. in each position there is gematrix or geriatrix. The combination of Aleph=Yod(10)plus Vav(6) plus Yod(10)=26, this is the number of the hebrew name of God YHWH.

I use a system by which i determine some influences in a reading by adding the card number and the house number, reduce it to under ten, sometimes its very interesting to see that the numbers remain for a specific house. This means to me that the situation is practically "locked" for lack of a better word. Sometimes it refers to another number, I then use the corresponding card number and possible placement in the spread, to also see how that may influence the current or future.
