Hi Gem

I refer to a reading you did for Weejaine on 15 June 2007 where you described the Tower in such a positive way. Is this a Tower different than the one in Rider Waite? There are no stais in the RW tower and everything about it is rather sinister.

Hi Cedars,

I have tried to reply to this three times now lol.

Ok try and look at The Tower like this. Many just see people falling and the devastation and destruction. I like to look inside the card. How did the people get to the top of the tower? Are there steps inside? A rope ladder? Did they pull themselves up the rough outside? What led to that picture? This gives another dimension to the card and the meaning and interpretation.
It also depends on the position of the card too,

I am ashamed to say I cannot remember which deck I read from but it was probably an RWS clone, Universal or Gilded or New Vision.

I see many people give bad meanings adn that goes against my ethics. There are ways of telling things that do not cause harm and distress and fear and that can instead empower the seeker with knowledge so they are filled with hope and not having their hopes dashed.

Bad readers and readings can destroy a seeker's hope and for no reason other than the reader's ego in some cases.

Perhaps you might like to re-visit The Tower and The Ethics part of the course now with a different view and take?

Thanks for the question, sorry for the delay in replying

Thanks for your reply Gem,
It wasnt a criticism of your interpretation, I must hasten to add. In fact, the positive aspect of your interpretation was uplifting, hence I wanted to know more about the Tower and the deck you were using.

Hi Cedars,

I agree with Gem regarding how people acheved what they did, however, i don't look past the fact that it describes the tower of Bable, it suggest that people worked so hard to excersise undue control over others and did not give credit where neccesary. The acted with so much pride that they couldn't see the flaws in their approach.

It is then these flaws that brought about their sudden destruction. When we now bring the number down to within the first ten we see that it is seven, the Chariot, movement. So, in line with this, looking at all the sevens, you can consider this to be receiving the fruit of your labour, or the consequence of what you do!!

Sometimes it's good that someone needs to take a fall, especially when they have a invading ego. It is also a indication that the person build a rocksolid foundation, but due to them cutting corners, that which is supported by the foundation can be demolished by outside influences, just to be rebuilt, better and so much stronger.

Blessed be
TOWER (Gem's reading) [Rider Waite Tower]
