Hi all,

I am busy with interpriting the cards, not ignoring the basic interpretations. Based on litreture and research. Some i changed dramatically and some remained the same. The Major Arcanum, has not yet been completed.

To be more specific, I used Raider Waite, P Scott Hollander, Robert M. Place, Haindl Robin Wood and Celtic Dragon. I also assigned weeks of the year to each card. This is an area under contention, but hopefully i can get it ordered in a workable system.

I beleive that i've still got a long way to go, but would appreciate if i could receive some feedback on the interpritations.

Therefore as soon as i get the green light, i will start posting on the learn tarot forum for your comments.

Hi Gem, thanx for your support,

I beleive we learn until the day we die, also more experienced readers has a tendancy to bring reality to some issues. Most probably due to the influence and effects of the Major Arcanum and the persons spiritual development. One thing which I found extremely interesting is the term providence. This is one of the virtues the christian faith includes in their mindset, among others.

When applying the second set of 7 cards in the Major Arcanum, we see that strength, Justice and Temperance actually create the term providence.

Now this where it gets interesting, should this virtue be included as another card, or should a person consider the vertitious nature of combined "virtue cards" in a spread?

Hi all,
Assigning the suits was done looking at the medieval period and customising it to people today. I group the suits as follows:
1) Swords. Air, South, Specific influence on intelect, brain, logical thoughts. Deseases covered, cancer (Brain and throat), should other cards indicate failure etc. and adjoin swords cards, these cards are red keeping in mind the influence although it doesn't always predict these circumstances. on two seperate occasions i layed the Ace of Swords, I predicted a person becoming ill, the foll was the final outcome, a month later my seeker phoned and told me her godmother was diagnosed with brain cancer, she died three months later. another example, i had ace of swords with the Moon, a reading for a male person. Normally when men becomes itchy, the wives relate them to being bothered by the Moon. The man was a fairly old person, when doing his reading his wife moved on about 4 days. He obviously was smitten as he was a very sickly person, my prediction was that he will go insane? Two months ago he was also diagnosed with braincancer. As predicted his son is having to maintain him in a assylum. Maybe co-insidence, what do you think?

i also assign them to the aristocracy, those that normally went to battle and conquer by force, intelligent, cutting edge, aggresive.

Blessed be
$50.00 tip....

Hi Paywacker,

(Joke) Normally this tip would cost you $50, but since you're here, you get it for free

Seriously....reading books on the Tarot is a good thing and a wonderful way to add to this excersize....but try this....

Pick a card, any card....and meditate on that card for an hour.... What symbolism is in that card and what does the card mean to YOU? You're the one who is going to be doing the reading for someone....not any of the books that you have read. Nor can those books think for themself and help interpret what that card means to your Querent and his or her question.

Do you NEED to hear anything while you're meditating? No, of course not. That's not the point....the point is to begin a relationship with the card so that you are better prepared to speak on it in the short time you have during your reading.....

Good Luck

Peter
