The Angel cards are not really designed to be used like tarot in spreads. In each LWB there are a few simple 1-4 card positional layouts that can be used,. Adding more cards can lead to a confusing mass of information as the messages are usually pretty similar.
Do you have any 3 or 4 card spreads that you can use?

There is only one 3 card spread int the book which is like a past/present/future spread.
I would have liked a couple of different ones though

I guess nothing prevents you from inventing your own 3 and 4 card spreads... here are some ideas for 3 card spreads, in addition to the past/future/present positions. I've found them pretty useful when I want to do simple Tarot spreads, and I don't see any reason they wouldn't work with Angel cards, either:
Center: current issue
Left: outside influence/how other people affect the issue
Right: your own influence/how you view the issue
Center: current issue/your conscious thoughts about it
Left: your subconscious thoughts about the issue
Right: the future/possible outcome
Center: you at the moment/what is important for you at the moment
Left: what kind of things you receive/what sort of energies and people you attract
Right: how you express yourself to the outside world/how you influence other people
Any of these spreads can be turned into a 4 card spread by adding yet another card above or below them. This card would be the key/answer to your question: What you should do about the current issue, how you can solve a current problem, or how you can achieve something important for yourself.
