Does this happen often?, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

My husband just discovered a year ago a talent for tarot. He bought (I believe) a Aleister Crowley deck and it has 4 Magus cards- all distinctly different. Everytime he did a reading for me, this particular Magus showed up representing (we believe) a certain person in my life that is not healthy for me. Not that I needed a tarot deck to tell me that, but anyway, it was really odd. For several months, EVERY time he did my reading THIS one card would show up.... never one of the others... and it was ALWAYS upside down. I finally distanced myself from this person and I stopped getting that card in my reading. Has anyone else had something similar happen? I don't know HOW tarot works, but this has convinced me something it going on.

Great question!

I have this happen quite often when I do my own readings. I find it usually depends on what is going on in my life at the time and when I deal with the life thing, the card quits showing up

Recently the King of cups in reverse was the culprit. Once I was aware of someone around me who was a water sign, I found the source of where certain difficulties I suffered was coming from.

The tarot is a great "tool" once you understand the meanings of the cards. I use them for guidance but also remember that the future and sometimes the present are in your control.

Hi, Yes this happens frequently when i do readings, you must also remember that it can sometimes be repreented by another card, but with more or less the same meaning. a good example, i did a reading for a lady and she had the tower in position 3, her imm. future, she went through this cycle in the first week after the reading. Being a sceptic she asked me to do a reading again, the 10 of Pentacles came up in position 5, imm. past! I interpret this card, upside down as the "robber". So, yes, sometimes cards will repeat even in a diffirrent setting! You must see if this matter manifested in another way, in which the influence may have changed slightly.

It happens a lot with me. I can do a reading to answer a question then reshuffle for 10 minutes and get EXACTLY the same cards!!!

Yes it has happened to me. In every Tarot reading I was doing for myself I kept getting a loss of employment but I didn't believe it. I also got a card about a new job too. About two weeks ago I got laid off. I found a new job today.

I also keep getting ones about going through depression and loneliness which I am in right now and they keep telling me things will get better soon. So I am hoping that one will get better soon.
