Heylo!

All the six years I've been reading tarot, I used a deck which was bought for me.  Just about a week ago, me and my girlfriend were  roaming around Boarders, the book store, in our favorite section containing things on Paganism, different religions, Tarot, etc.

She pulled out a folder where they displayed all the different sets of cards they had.  Many from Fairy, to Angel, and even Vampire Tarot!  As she's turning the pages I'm reading my own book, but a specific card caught my attention, right off the corner of my eye.  I asked her to turn back the page and realized it was The Sun card from The Quest Tarot.

The imagery is SO vivid and attractive, I had to get the deck.

Anyone else know of it?  What're your thoughts on it?

Thanks!
~Dan

I love the cards and after seeing the deck I had to buy it too, I presume you mean The Vision Quest Tarot? http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/vision-quest/

It also adds the Runestones associated with the card, I Ching symbolism, and gemstones associated with said card.

The book that comes with the set explains the meanings of all these also adding many astronomical facts (planets, how they relate, etc.)

I highly recommend it.

Bit of a change though, Temperance, Judgement, and the World cards to Aeon, Alchemy, and the Universe.

It also presents the addition of a new major arcana card named the Multiuniverse, representing the unbound.

The Kings, Queens, Pages and Knights are renamed to Father, Mother, Daughter and Son of each respective suit.  Pentacles are changed to Stones.

I found these changes to be contemporary and refreshing, though, am I making a big mistake? Please help

I am sorry lol, i went completely nutz there for a minute, I had spent the day reading from The Vision Quest and totally forget the Quest deck. I bet it will never forgive me. I love the extra details that are incorporated in each card, they are such an interesting deck. I love doing one card radings from them because so much information comes through I don't need any more lol. Its based on the Thoth more than the Rider Waite Ithink so I feel quite at home with the Aeon and Universe cards  Another really nice thing is their size and feel Ithink
