creating my own tarot deck, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

Hi, I am in the process of creating my own deck of cards and I am wondering if there are certain guidelines one should follow. Such as how many cards should be in the deck? Must you use suits and if so how many suits? Or is it simply up to personal preference?

ALL tarot should have 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor, unless you are making a trumps deck only when it will be 22. Always 4 suits broken down into 10 pips then 4 courts. Before making your own deck you really should understand more about the tarot or just make a set of playing cards?
