If they did, do you think that we can avoid death just by knowing its time and place?

What purpose would a tarot reader have in telling someone when they will die? Personally it goes against my ethics and beliefs.

i am so late on this. we have no idea what was conveyed to john and yoko. a reader is insane if they will tell someone something like they are going to die! what i do believe we should do and maybe the reader did do this, we should just tell them to be extra cautious while driving or crossing the st. or pay closer attention on a certain day or even an entire month! anyone who reads knows that we cannot get every aspect of someones lives. we only know what the cards tell us and what it is that our seekers need to know. also, it is up to the seeker to take the information that is given and do with it what they deem appropriate to their lives. there may have been a warning. or that reader may not have gotten a single warning that this would happen. readings give insight into ones own possibilities given the present circumstances. anything can change at any given time. the outcome is not etched in stone. it is our choice to stay on the path we are on or to change it. maybe they changed some things, maybe they stayed on the same path. we will never know! i hope this has helped you! blessings
