sorry for any misspelling.

I am just an amature in reading the tarot cards.
But I find that my biggest problems reading is caused by asking :
1 : The wrong way
2 : Asking the wrong questions
3: Asking in present or in future sence

I would like to have a guideline for the asking technnique or at least having some hints that could help

Hi Pouldk, welcome to Mystic Board

Why not take our Learn Tarot Class? Its free and fun and you start whenever you want in the Learn Tarot Forum.

I am a bit confused by what you are asking? Are you talking about reading for yourself? And how to phrase the question? Questions can hinder a reading sometimes, and a reading can be done without any question at all, which is much better when practising.

Forming a question isn't always easy and can lead to confusion if unsure of the question being asked is the "right one"

First it is in my opinion that there is NO right or wrong way to the tarot. The energy is not exactly in the cards but more so in your self.

Say you wanted to know about an uncoming job interview. You don't just say. I have a job interview what is going to happen? Do a bit more something like this.
"I have a job interview for ____ (incert jobs name) on______ (incert date) is there any advice on what I should expect? Or same beginning but end it with What if any advice do you have for me in dealing with this interview?

Love questions can go like this.
What is going on within my relationship? simple question formation.
OR you can ask again for advice.
What if any helpful advice can I have for me and so and so?

Instead of asking what will happen, how will it happen and when will it happen. Ask more on advice on how to deal with what is already before you.

Asking for the future to reveal it self to you is not going to work. Cause the cards don't work that way. Nothing is set in stone when it comes to reading the cards and more so, the future.
Instead of asking about EXACTLY what will happen. Ask for advice on how better to deal with the situition/s in front of you.
Asking advice on how to deal with the situition rather then demand the future be reveailed to you would be more helpful to you reading the cards.

I hope this was helpful? I am new to this forum.

I thought that was a great answer.  I think many times that the problem is not so much in the question, as in the interpretation.  Yes/No questions can be very hard to interpret using tarot cards.  Whatever source one uses tends to stick to a "blurb" about the interpretation of the card, and they, too, can all be different.  I had a psychic once who used the picture represented on the card to explain it.  It was very interesting, and also very accurate to the person she was talking about.  I think it is a matter of combining/using different information into the "best fit" (Not sure that I'm explaining myself very well!), but definitely why I have some issues still learning the tarot.  May be a matter, too, of using intuition to interpret the best meaning.

Thanks for your answers.
I will consider takeing Learn Tarot Class --this winter and thanks for telling me. And I  was mostly talking about phrasing my questions
To BOTYFLTIGER (what a name)"S".................. It helpt me a lot and I do see what you  meen.  If You should come upon some other good advice I should be gratefull.
My feeling is that the interpretation goes somehowe easy when you have asked the question in the right way.

Still good Thoughts-- or even better
