Rider Waite Tarot Deck

My question is that I recently took a vacation ... I'm contemplating moving
there very soon, but need to resolve a legal matter before I head out
there.  I dont know if this is the right thing to do...but the big picture is
what I strive for.

Here is how I read the cards you drew:

Your legal situation DEFINATELY needs to be taken care of
first. In the past you had the self-image you had built up of yourself
knocked down.

A legal authority, such as a lawyer or judge, relates that you should try to
change your life and find deeper meanings to live by and not become
involved with or let a dominating or controlling person influence your life.

So, you are doing right by searching for answers from those that
can advise you -from their own experiences - or show you exactly
"what is needed" to overcome your present situation and that will lead
you "correctly" into the "safest and best" future for you.

Right now you are probably wrestling with some form of addiction and
possibly a bondage to something or someone that is not good for you or
your soul. Even if you don't want to admit it...that's okay...
...you know about it. You can win the battle if you set your mind to it.

I believe that you do have a lot of people around you right now that are
trying to encourage you to help you to grow and expand mentally...
Even here on this board, we encourage you to go forward in a positive
and thoughtful manner. If you do it right...then you don't have to look back!

What do you want?  I think you want to COMPLETELY change your life in
every way possible. You see this move as a new beginning...

FINAL OUTCOME OF YOUR READING:
I also see the BIG PICTURE, after meeting your legal responsibilites...as a NEW BEGINNING for you!

You are right in feeling good about the move...NEW JOB, NEW FRIENDS, NEW LUCK IN LIFE...
Go for it! - after the legal problems are resolved.

Hi Chris,

Well there is a lot in your reading. Because there was so much I decided to check and clarify:
1. What will be the outcome of Chris's legal situation? -Two Pentacles
My interpretation is that it will be a so-so result and for you part of the trails of life.
2. What are the conditions around Chris moving to the new city at this time? - Two of Cups
Positive. Perhaps the start of a new positive relationship - possible new love relationship. This matches with your 10th card, Ace of wands start of something new. New beginnings, new enterprise etc.

Assuming you drew correct cards for your Celtic cross, there is a lot going on in your life and there are possibly more important questions you should be asking. (Remember when you move you take yourself with you

Bear in mind that I do not usually read the court cards as people but IF YOU DO AND YOU DREW THE CARDS then I would go more with the other post re 2nd card and modify the 4th to say there has been a woman messing up your life.

However, you asked for an interpretation of the card YOU DREW:

Currently you are not happy with your life (Nine of Swords). You have a love of money and you can take offence quickly (your legal issues?). Be careful not to have an over inflated view of your talents (Queen of Wands). You should be careful of your ego, once again over inflated view of yourself or it will lead to your downfall (The Tower). In the past you have felt a lack of power or strength in your life - perhaps to determine your direction? (Queen of Swords). You have needed more knowledge. This influence is waning (The Hermit). You will feel entrapped by circumstances - though this is never really the case. There is always a way out. Be careful to think from your Higher Self and not give into baser emotions (The Devil). You now feel much more in control of your life, more empowered (The Chariot). You feel you have the strength to step forward with confidence - ties well with the Chariot (Strength). Your feel the need for change in your life (Wheel of Fortune). The final outcome of your move is a positive new beginning. (Ace of Wands)

First I would like to say thank you to all those who replied to my post.  Most of you kind of spot on with what you've said, so I guess I can come clear a little bit as to whats going on in my life.

My legal situation - A DUI from St. Patty's Day in which I blew .011 under the legal limit at the station (blew .07 over the legal limit at the time of the arrest).  I should have it resolved by the end of July.

My job opportunity - I've been playing poker over the past 3 years, and I am ready to take it to the next step.  I've have a job as a bartender over the past two years, but support myself playing poker.  I've had some big losses in money due to poker lately, which is why I'm staying away from it for a little while to save money to make this move to the big city.  There's a local casino near this big city where's I feel I can make a living there.  I do not have a gambling addiction, I'm very good at what I do, and feel with the right state of mind, I can easily make a living doing this.  I do realize if I do move, I will have to get a part time job in the beginning, just to make sure Uncle Sam knows I'm doing something to pay for my bills.

Unlimited, as far my feedback, you are dead on with a lot of things.

First, I really am not happy with my life as it stands.  It seems like I'm going through the motions everyday, seeing the same people, doing the same job, living in the same crap town with really nothing to do.

I do have a love for money.  I'm always thinking about it.  My biggest fear in life is being broke.  I know that's bad, but to me it reminds me to take responsibility for myself and not be reckless with it.

I also have an ego when it comes to poker.  I have this mentality that I'm much better than my opposition, and I do get reckless when things don't go my way.  I've really calmed this part down though lately, because I realize to make a living at this my ego as well as my emotions cannot get in the way of playing my game.

I strongly feel the need for this change.  There is only one person I know who will try and persuade me not to make this move.  She's been my best friend and the only person outside of family I can say I really love.  As much as I do love her, I feel its best for me to get out of here.  If I stay, I can just see myself getting more and more depressed about everything in my life.

Once again, I appreciate the feedback from everybody who replied.  You all have really given me a sense of direction as to what needs to be done, and I cannot thank you enough for that.  I really feel good about all of this.  It's something that needed to be done months ago but never had the mindset to do it.
Anybody want a shot at interpreting this?
