If a three card spread means past, present and future, how would one interpret The World when it is the first card? Shouldn't that be sort of the future to come, the fruition, the completion?
I have had the World card as my first one on a few occasions and I cannot put my finger on its true meaning in relation to the spread.
Anyone care to enlighten me on this, please?
Thanks.

Hi cedars
The three card spread doesn't always mean past, present and future, it can mean lots of other things too, which we have covered in our learn tarot readings section

But if that is the card designation you have chosen then pulling The World as card one, past, is a very interesting card. Don't forget the World can give us opportunites, perhaps lots of doors were in front of us, all with a job or different career, we had the possibilities of travel or staying at home, visiting other places or not, The World signifies unlimtlessness, all things. are possibole with the World card.
What were the others? and which deck?
