Did anyone watch this programme last night in the UK? Its is repeated next week too
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/whatson/search/advance_search.cgi?keyword=bulls***+detective
The so called Bulls**t detective Alasdair Jefffrey is given a tarot reading and what he learns from those then goes on to set himself up in a shopping mall with a table and deck of tarot all ready to give readings. Each person he tells the same things to from pre-written cardboard sheets....
1. Disciplined - Worrier
2. Unused capacity - Pain
3. Made Decisions - Self doubt
4. Somebody Close - Need to talk
5. 3-4 months
6. Get it off your chest now!
Each reading said all these things and the querents were very happy. Is tarot really that predictable? DO all readings say the same things?
Are people too polite to actually say .."NO, you are wrong, thats not me, that isn't right" or do we accept everything that we are told?
The worst was still to come when Danny Robing set up a premium rate tarot phone line charging £1.50 a minute, with people off the street who had never read tarot before or had any experience, but who could easily give a reading from scripts! The 'hotline' had the potential to make £10,000 a month!!!!!
I think this should be a warning to all tarot readers and seekers really don't you?
Why pay for a tarot reading when we can get brilliant ones here on Mystic Board for free?
Anyone have any comments or like to put forward their ideas or views?
