Hello All, I was wondering if someone can give me a clue about an issue.
I've done some readings about my fiance and they indicate that he is being dishonest with me about something that could change my life if I knew the truth. Basically the indications are that he is not who I think he is. I dont know how to figure out the nature of this dishonesty or secret, so is there a way that someone could give me an idea about this?

Well....since you ask....then you can't be to familiar with Readings.....and neither am I....but I will give you my view on it.

A tarot Reading are not (for most of us) a fix thing on a special issue but more like you said an indication.

When you read for yourself and your nearest, you sit with to much information already and this can clutter the message from the cards, because we most of the time try to fit the information to already known issues, but maybe the card are trying to tell something else.

To be a good reader goes mostly on intuition and the ability to connect to the one you read for.

Two readers might interpret  the same spread different.

So I would say if the card tells you that a person isn't what you thought he/she would be....then there is many ways to interpret this.

It don't need to be disloyalty it can also mean something else that you wasn't aware off.

Bottom line is to use your "stomach feeling" more then what a spread tells you....unless you don't need to ask.....then you know

I do agree with what Rhuto has said, but I am wondering how you did the actual reading? Diod you read as if for yourself as the querent? or with your fiancee? What kind of spread did you do , what positions and so on? Perhaps you haven't clarified the reading areas enough? It is crucual I think when reading for oneself to make sure there is little room for misinterpretation.

Do you read for others too with the same deck? Which deck is it?  If perhaps you could share the deck, layout and spread then I might be able to give a little more detail?

My tarot deck is a Rider Waite and when I consult them I usually do a three card spread, horseshoe spread or celtic cross.  When I read I do so as I am the querent, and the questions I ask go along the lines of:

What are the issues surrounding my relationship with Ben?
What are things I need to be concerned about in my relationship with him?
Are his motives sincere in our interaction?
What is the best way to approach my interaction with him?

A lot of times I have gotten the reversed magician, the moon, seven of swords, reversed page of wands in the position of environment, or obstacles. Sometimes I do one card readings and say something like "Tell me about Ben," and it ends up being one of these cards or the King of pentacles or King of Wands reversed. In the self position, immediate future or hopes and fears I often get the seven of cups and  I am often crowned by the highpriestess in celtic cross. I dont know how relevant these are, but like you all said, the biggest indicator is your gut. So I really think there is something.

Then I do readings online and regardless of what site i go to, I pull the same cards over and over again. The sites basically give their interpretation of the cards, sometimes synthesized to fit the meaning of the position. Basically what the sites tell me is that I need to open my eyes and dont allow myself to be fooled or misled by someone who is not what they seem.

Then there are the other oracles like the Gong Hee fat choy and the Madame Lenormand that tell me that I am being misled by a secret. I know these are completely differnt from Tarot, but they too continuously spit out the same messages over and over again. This leads me to believe that I am missing something.

I think I will request a reading in the other section. If you have any other suggestions, I am very willing to accept them.
