I found a website that i could print the rw cards out on so i did and i put them on photo paper and colored them...do you think that is acceptable or am i asking for some negitive energy?

Hi. No I think its a good idea, that way the cards are actually yours.. you are putting your own creative energies into them, and I think they will creat positive energy so you can read with them accurately.

Ive never heard of anyone doing that before, but it seems like a good idea.

Plus, you can add your own colors.. make the cards as you want them, reflect what you think the individual cards mean by the colors you paint on them.

What did you put on the back of them?

I think this is good idea, especially for beginers. You can put the meanings of each card on the back to help yhou learn how to do readings. Being able to color them in yourself is great. The more energy and focus you put into your tools the more connected you are to them. I think this is a fantastic idea. Do you remember the web site where you were able to print out these cards? I would like to do this for my son who is just beginning.

Whilst I agree that many people enjoy colouring and making their own deck, (there are shop bought decks that do this too) which can be a great way to tune in and learn the cards, I don't think that writing meanings on the back is a very good idea. I will try and explain why.  The meanings change depending on the position in the spread and the cards that are near them, if you use reversals again the meanings may change. You will end up with a very confusing essay on the back lol. And then have to pick the corrct meaning.

Far better to learn to read the cards intuitively, like we do in the tarot class here on Mystic board. Its free and easy to work through. That way the meaning does not have to be learnt but it is there inside all the time and just by seeing the card's picture will be retrieved.
