I have my own deck and book. It's called the Shapeshifter deck. I usually can interpret some of it but then there are others that I cannot figure out at all what it could mean. I usually give myself a weekly reading and a monthly reading.
The thing is the predictions do come true, even if my interpretations are wrong. At the beginning of each week or month I write down what the cards were that I picked out and then go over them at the end of the week or month and my interpretations. Usually I can see at the end of the week or the month exactly what the cards meant and usually I am way off from what I originally thought they would mean. Once I got a rejection one and my question was about the guy I like, so I assumed it meant he was going to reject me. It turned out not to be about him at all even though my question for my reading was about him. The rejection ended up being something completely different.

So how do I actually read it correctly at the time? There are times when I am right on. But then I get these otehr ones where it has nothing to do with my question at all. Then there are ones that answer my question but I interpreted wrong and I don't find out until the end of the week or the month when I go over the cards again. What am I doing wrong?

I have no idea how to do that. I have never been good at clearing my mind, so how would I do that? I want to learn meditation and have been trying for years but I can't free my mind, so this would help with that too anyway.
