Cards missing fromTarot decks?
There are 78 cards in a Tarot deck, where's the 22 more?  Is it that 100 cards just sounds complete.
I sometime think that tarot cards might have some cards missing from the deck to protect us. For example; the 22 missing cards are used for harm or attack and we should not use them so they have been taken out.

There is probably something significant about the numbers of the deck.  They were made probably to imitate the normal playing decks that also can be used as tarot cards.  Each card has a similar meaning.  It is based on that and nothing else.  If you want to make a deck with 100 cards, it would be nice, but so far I haven't seen any.  There are some with only 58 or something cards, so it's not in the number, but what they are representing with the number.

If you think this is true, then it means you are assuming that there SHOULD BE 100 cards... Why are you assuming that? Why do you think that the number 100 is a complete number? In many cultures, it is the number 99, or 33, or 3 or 9 that is considered the perfect number... or even 5 in some places.

So, I guess it all depends on what we consider "complete" or "perfect"....
