Funny really because one of the oldest surviving decks actually has 86 cards, nearly all have 22 major arcana but some actually have a 64 card minor arcana, with male and female pages and knights included.

Others have a 22 card outgoing major arcana and a 22 incoming major arcana plus the 56 which does make 100.
Tarot history is fascinating I think.

I think it would be great to have a 200 card deck.  The more options means more likely of defining the reading.

I started to make my own, but I start to do a lot of things I never finish.  It would be a great piece of artwork by the time it's finsihed.  I still think about it, but 100 cards or 200 cards sound good.

I like the oversized cards as opposed to some travel decks.  I have one that is a square and I've seen the round decks which are really cool.  That's a great Idea too, but I'll bet confusing at to reversals and all.

Yep I agree, I hate large decks and much prefer the smaller card sizes, the Hanson Roberts is perfect for my hands Have you seen the Carey-Yale Visconti? It is huge 190 x 90, I have yet to try a reading cos I cant shuffle it lol!

200 isn't needed once you start reading intuitively each card has a 100 different meanings anyway

I agree with Lady of Avalon.

If you ask me, we could do without the court cards in the current count of 78...... (I see all eyes frowning upon me at this criminal statement     )

OK Ok.. just kidding.
