just did a "not so clear" reading for my wife and it was 95% clear as a whistle however, she was asking about her career and a lot of career cards came out and made a lot of sense. She was able to confirm it all which is no great mystery as she is my wife. Anyway, the page of cups came out in the outcome position.

I almost always interpret the page of cups as a message pertaining to love and/or the start of a creative cycle in ones life. It also has a few other meanings such as trusting your instincts and using your intuition. However, I was surprised to see this card in a spread so bedded in career issues. Anybody got any ideas.

Don't forget there is also a student element to the card, learning new things, exploring new avenues, being a new student, the start of a learning cycle.

Are you using the Rider Waite Deck or which?

Yes I use a Rider-Waite based deck called the Gilded Tarot. An aesthetically pleasing deck to say the least. I have much success but as with all people I have problems with court cards.

Obviously pages are about newness, niaivity, child-like qualities realted to the relevant suit aswell as messages.

Knights are about extremes of a particular suit.

Queens about developing, nurturing the suits qualities and

Kings about confidence, wielding the power of a suit, etc.
