I read that if you do a 5, 7, or 9 card spread and the majority are Majors then the answer is yes. If the majority are minor than the answer is no.

A yes/no/maybe spread that I remember from a tutorial book is to shuffle pack as normal - obviously whilst concentrating on your question. When ready, cut the pack once to the left, then stack the righthand pile on top. Note that this spread is more accurate if you shuffle the pack so as to have some cards negative.
You will now deal the cards in 3 piles, one beside the other, left to right. Begin to deal the cards until you either deal an Ace, or deal the 13th card - whichever comes first. ie if you deal an Ace before you've dealt out 13 cards, then stop, and begin a new pile, again until you've either dealt out 13 cards, or you deal an Ace. Repeat for the final pile.
You can now look for the answer. 3 upright Aces, signifies a yes, 3 reversed Aces, signifies a no. A mixture of upright and reversed signify a maybe. An complete absence of Aces signifies that the question cannot be answered at this time - in that situation, ask yourself if your question is a bit too vague.
Pile 1 represents the current state of play, pile 2 represents progression, whilst pile 3 represents the outcome. So, an upright Ace in piles 1 and 2, and a reversed Ace in pile 3, would suggest something delayed or going wrong at the last minute. The cards in each pile can then be looked at for clues as to reasons why.
Note that the Aces can also be used to give an idea of timing of progression/ outcome.

I use a combination of intuition along with my experience that I've had from various outcomes after doing a spread. In the end, I would say that intuition works best.
