Do travel packs work well? I mean as the same as the large deck?

I think it would depend on your dexterity, and whether your hands are big or small. It would definitely help to practice with them for a while before doing readings.

Even a standard size deck doesn't take up that much room, although they can be a little heavy to carry around in the purse. (I just did that last night, and I really noticed the difference).

Try to attune them first (sleep with them under your pillow then use them a few times) so you feel comfortable with those cards. I have large cards and they aren´t that heavy (unless they are in their wooden box!)

I have a keyring Rider Waite Deck, I thought it would be great to carry round and I would never be at a loose end, just play with my deck lol. But boy oh boy is it small, I can't shuffle it without the cards flying off in all directions lol, they are so light they seem to stick together, so I ended up getting a half size pack that fits into a pocket instead. Lol.... only thing is I keep forgetting which pocket!

In the end... a bigger handbag! Problem solved!
