Hi--

I was wondering if anyone might help me with identifying what the attached symbol/pictogram might mean.  It's something that I saw often when I first started seeing spirits and the many other amazing things I've been seeing in the past year; it would often look as if someone were drawing it in the air in front of me, trying to call my attention to it.  I haven't seen it for quite a while, but in the past couple of weeks it's been shown to me again a few times.

It's drawn from the left to right (my rendition isn't great, so I'll describe it as well), and looks like a series of jagged "steps" leading slightly upward to something that looks like a scorpion's tail.  Then it leads down to a kind of an underline done several times beneath it.

As with a lot of things I describe here, it sounds kind of crazy, but it's happened enough times that I don't find it strange myself--just confusing, because it seems to be important but I can't for the life of me figure out what it means.

to me it's mountains or hills being inundated with water

What I first saw before my mind kicked in, were teeth and the jaw.  
Then I saw the mountains with the lake or water.

Thank you!  Yes, I can see both comparisons (hills/water, and teeth/jaw).  My first thought was that it looked like waves with a tidal wave rising at the end.  But you've got me thinking about the flood idea--a huge wave washing over mountains?  

I first saw the picture in New Jersey, and later in Florida.  My next question would be, why am I seeing it?

I think the first hit you got is the "right" one.  waves with a tidal wave (tsunami)
The reason I say this is you are getting the symbol and you also got the info as to what it is.  
I'm sure the next thing is, why am I seeing this.  There may have been a tidal wave there at some time in history.
The other would be that it is to happen.
I would imagine that if you ask, at the time, is there more info I need, you will get more info.

I think when you get an image and an idea of what it is at the time, go with it.  At another time you might get another hit as to what it is. My friend who is so visual, sees symbols.  He never set the definition in him head because it would change for the person or the situation.  He learned to define the symbol for the time and place and person.
