I seem to find myself saying, "Whoa!" a lot lately--but, whoa.  That is a similar interpretation to the one I was given, and seems, um, apt.

The other interesting thing (coincidence, I'm sure, but interesting nevertheless) is that my guide was/is part Ojibwe (even though he lived in New Mexico and Arizona as a child).  He also lived on one of the reservations in Minnesota for a while as an adult.

Curiouser and curiouser...

Thank you, Krustayshun!

Hi again, Krustayshun,

Since we seem to be on something of a roll here, I wanted to ask you something else.  It will probably sound a little flakey, but this is the one place where I get to be truly flakey without any serious repercussions!

When I first started seeing the symbol, I also kept seeing the word, "Moom."  It sounds like a complete nonsense word to me, and I haven't been able to find anything that explains it to my satisfaction so far, but I thought that there might be a chance that you might have a clue.  (I THINK that I might have been told that it means "mountain" while I was in Arizona, but I'm not sure and, if it is, I don't know what language it would be.  Given everything else that was going on, I was thinking that maybe it was a Hopi or--to use the "politically incorrect" term just for now--Anasazi word.  I guess there would be no way to know if it was the latter, but on the other hand I thought that the languages would likely have similarities.)

Just thought I'd throw it out there.  I've decided that I'm probably not just "randomly" finding things out--too many "coinicidences" at work--so, even if it sounds silly and may be wrong, I'm determined to go down any avenue that seems to open itself to me.

Thanks again,

Doe

Sorry. But the only word that comes to mind is Moo, slang for feces and that is probably local.

Drat--foiled again!  Maybe I was just being insulted in some relatively obscure way--I wasn't exactly the most popular kid on the spirit block at that point, it seems...
