The only symbol that matters to me is the sign of the cross. Without, i would not be here today. Amen

Crosses existed much before Jesus's time. Perhaps it holds other meanings in other cultures. In some cultures the stems of the cross are actually equal, where as in other cultures there is one long stem.

Crosses -
Fire, Earth, Wind ,Water .

North South East and West.

Quatering of the universe into active and passive principles. (Greater and lesser Yang- Greater and lesser Yin)

The cross is everywhere .

The cross is a good symbol and it's meaning is ever expanding.

Thank you for sharing your personal experience.

I always try as best I can to allow others the freedom to accept what belief system holds the most meaning to them. For that reason, when I speak of spiritual things, I avoid stating things in absolute terms.

To maintain peace with my fellow spirit workers, I try not to use words like "always," "never," "all," and "none." They have a tendency to cause conflicts of opinion.

Being into Christian Mysticism myself, I have found the cross to be very meaningful and useful, as well.
