Well, anyone who is familiar with symbols can probably answer this.. but here goes:

I've been reading this forum and familiarizing myself with symbols other than my own interest in specific symbols... and it's a great forum to get a better understanding of them as well as thinking outside the box for me.

Suzi, I read a thread and I'm not sure which one, but you had said if something of the same keeps popping up... like for instance a bat, it surely means something. Here is my question since I had read something of yours that gave me pause to think:

All of my life I have been a collector of Sue's, Donna's, Diane's, Joanne's and Chris' along with a few other names. I don't find them, they find me and we just click and we become friends - good friends. The big joke I say amongst my friends since a majority of them are named Sue is "Collect the whole set!" I'm wondering if this is symbolic or is it nothing at all....

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for any thoughts shared

Yeah i have noticed that this can be a common theme in lots of groups of people that there is a common name.  Names do have meaning and in your case the name Suzanne, susan, Sue and other variations is taken from the hebrew for lily (it also means she who will be loved), Christopher, chris is taken from St Christopher the patron saint of travellors (means to carry), donna is taken from the italian for lady and diane which means heavenly or devine.

So hope that helps?  sorry for the delay in replying.

Hey there!

Thank you. I was just wondering since they have names in common or at least I am friends with a lot of people with those names if perhaps there is some symbolic meaning... I wonder if their presence means lessons to be learned or an abundance of those meanings, perhaps something else? I'll find this under things that make you go "Hmmmmm..."

Thanks for the reply Suzi ::hugs::

I think you would need to look at the attributes of the group of friends that you have match up the name to the definition and see if there is a lesson for you to learn.  I suspect that the Chris's you find difficult to cope with at times and the Sue's very supportive altho they perhaps give their friendships on a 'condition'.  Diana's are perhaps the people you need to give support to and the donna's are your fun time friends.  This is obviously a very generalised reading summary.  You can let me know if i am wrong or right?

I found that the people with the same name came in at different times but where transient friends that taught me lessons in things like humility, strength fun etc.....

Suzi-

After giving this some thought I would agree... with the exception of Donna's... loud, domineering, but it is because of insecurity or need to be the center of attention.  But that is my perception of the Donna's in my life...
