I recently was in Nebraska. First I was exposed to a dead bird on a deck.
Next, I was walking in the market and came across several feathers on the ground as I walked. Then another time there was a whirlwind that continued to play in the same circle for my whole break (nearly 15 minutes).
Does any of this mean anything? |
In European magickal cultures feathers and birds represent the element of air, which is the element involved with learning, intelligence, creativity, inspiration, clairvoyance, and over all spirituality.
Seeing so many feathers may possibly be an indication that you are making spiritual progress.
In many older earth cultures, birds and feathers are considered to be a sign of significant and/or drastic change. Some consider to mean change for the better, and some consider it a portent of trouble.
To find meaning in the symbols, the best thing to do is remain quiet, and listen intently to your inner dialogue. Reach out with your inner feelings. If an explanation doesn't come right away, that's ok. Understanding will come, in time.
In Huna they teach:
trust yourself
expect the best
bless the present
