Doesn’t it feel good to have updates on the Sun Signs forum every week? There is something new to look forward to on Sun Signs forum every week. It feels great to have the support of such co-operating members. A brief update on the upgrades done this week.

 1. Errors & Bugs repaired - All visual errors and bugs have been taken care of. If you come across any, please do let us know.
 2. Sun Sign Mod - Members can share their birthdate and sun sign with others.

In the process of:
1. Creating sub - forums for Sun Signs
2. Assigning ranks to members on the basis of the number of posts made
3. Implementing the Cash Mod

SunSigns.org is getting a makeover and hope  everyone is having a good time trying out the new changes. I am sure some of your feel that it is gettng too complex for their understanding… but then don’t worry guys we are there to help you. All changes will help make the forum more user friendly.

  A brief update on the upgrades done this week.

 1. Watched Topics - Keep a list of all your watched topics on the forum.

2. Global & Other Announcements- Helps you keep track of all the major announcements on the forum. It is displayed on top of every page thus making it easy for members to view it.

3. Inline ads for non registered members and members with less than 100 posts - Regular posting members… no inline ads anymore:) Members do post regularly to see less of ads.

4. Member link only viewable by other members- So non members can no more access your mail, or see the number of posts you have made etc. This saves the members from unwanted requests frm guests.

5. Report Posts- All registered users have an option to report a post to the site admin if you think it is unsuitable for this board. The Report button is available next to the Quote button in each post.

So how do you like the new changes on Sun Signs??? Waiting for your feedback. Do let us know if you like them this way or not, so that we can include your suggstions too.  A brief update on the upgrades done this week.

 1. Digests - now you have the email option to subscribe to daily digests on the latest discussions on your favourite forums. 

2. Bookmarks - mark your favourite discussion topics and go directly to those links.

3. Attachment Mod: Now you can attach your images directly to your posts by just browsing your PC and attaching it. Very Simple isnt it? You can attach images in your private messages too. Makes life so simple:)

Have u been noticing the latest changes on Sun Signs ??? I hope u like them. We have plans for loads more stuff, all for our wonderful members. Let me list out some of the major changes:

 1. Ads removed on the Right Hand Side of the page for Forum Members: now all members have a wider space on their web pages with no distractions.

2. User friendly Navigation bar: Look at the top of the forum… u will see links for easy navigation . The new ones added are:

   a. Forum Rules - rules and guidelines shifted to the top.
   b. Sun Signs Blog- link to this blog
   c. Users Blog - lists out blogs of all users
   d. Referral Center- invite ur friends to become members
   e. My CP- make changes to ur profile here
   f. My Blog CP- make changes to your blog interface
   g. My Blog- shortcut to ur blog
   h. Contact Admin- contact forum admin for anything ( postive or negative!!)

3. Cash module– which lets u earn Sun Signs points for ur posts which can be redeemed later on for stuff. have to still work on that.

4. New blog interfaces– make ur blog look happening! give it a new look withe the new interfaces available.

Hello members,

Here is the promised newsletter after months of delay. We hope to begin this New Year on a positive note by reviving the forum once again and making it better than ever before. And this can be done with your support.

We hope to make this into one of the better forums of its kind on the Internet. As of today, we have crossed the 1600+ member mark for which I must thank everyone for their participation. I urge everyone to contribute what they can without any hesitation. That’s the only way we can hope for the forum to grow.

Hi people,

Like i was saying the sun signs forum is under goin some changes / tweaks / upgrades… we have now finished upgardes of the main forum scripts… not that these chnages will be visible per se. but the chnages made so far is:

phpbb version 2.0.17 to 2.0.18
phpbb version 2.0.18 to 2.0.19

this should make the sun signs forum more stable and secure!

We also plan to complete upgarding the forum eXterme style version & main style version today also.

stay uned for many many more small tweaks to come in the next few days.
