This world of things is like living in a box. In physics we attempt to explore what is outside the box from inside the box. A mystic also explores what is outside the box from inside the box.

Now there are basically two ways to explore what is outside of the box: Slowly expand the walls of the box; and seeking understanding from some one that "lives" outside of the box.

The Divine lives outside of the box (this world of things) and they are caring and loving folk that are willing to help us. When one appeals to the Divine (they actually live in a bigger box ) they will share with us the bigger bigger that they live in.

When one appeals to God, who's box includes all boxes and who is also willing to help us understand God's own reality, we can then really explore the outside of the box !

Guys, this is just something that I am wrestling at this point in time with some interesting results and thought I would run it by you for reality reference input.

Yea, but I think we can narrow it down to say that we all live in our own little box, where we create our own reality.

A person who is very shy, and who have very little contact with the world outside his/her's box, will have a reality only created by imaginations.
The more the person read, the "bigger" will the imagination become, and the comprehension of his/her reality will be colored by the thoughts of the Authors.
If he/she then read a lot of fantasy...fantasy will also become reality, and so on.

So my thoughts, about us, is that we all create our own reality as we go.

We can seldom see the same, because our reality is created by what we comprehend there and then, which contain our prior knowledge that lead up to a situation, our knowledge of the situation when it happens, our belief,(here also Tradition) and our Education, under this come; if we have seen something like this before, if we know how thing is done and so on.

Since we have this difference in reality, we also have the option of discussions. If we all had the same reality, we would have nothing to discuss, just to confirm

So yes, If you want to explore the Divine, then I think it is very important to start to explore one self too, to catch a bigger understanding, again to see that other have the same value as oneself, even if we see thing different.

If we go blind in one belief, then we again create our own reality, that our God is the only true one, that all who don't believe what we do, believe wrong.
We do so because we believe we have found the truth, and in a way that is ok, but only for our own reality, one shall not condemn other because they have found another truth, or reality, that works better for them.

All Religions are created by man, by reference to scrips found.
All major Religions are created in a time when journeys was slow, and they mostly contain the same values, and was developed far apart.
We humans are weak, and to be a part of a leader group, in a major union, gives power, we can then assume that some of this has brought influence in the development of the Religion, which also show a slow but steady change of scriptures and dogmas, and even excuses for wrongdoings.
We can even today see that Religion is used in order to promote own interest and power, and not to praise the Divine, even from the highest leaders.

In my mind there can only be one "creator" (source), but this Creator can have many names, and from that my own realty is created, that we all worship the same Source, but use different names,and ways.
By believing so, I have got MY confirmation that I own My Truth, and at the same time I have no need to make you believe the same, because we already do

This is also one of the reason that most Country have the liberty of Religion, since none of us own the ultimate truth.

We had the discussion about Evil.....Evil is just a name....different cultures have different thing they classify as evil....one thing that is evil in one situation, might not be evil in another situation and so on.

Evil in my opinion, is when you for your own pleasure do something wrong to another person.  When you have a choice, and take the most cruel one.....When you have control and start to suppress other, in order to stay in control, without it benefits the masses but only yourself.

When you are afraid, and do cruel thing in order to "save" yourself or other, then that is not evil......Evil need to be for own benefits when you have choice not to do it.

then I recommend it, it might also be an explanation for the Jail Drama in Iraq, and elsewhere, and show the dark side of us.

We do so love to label things - perhaps the box of our own reality can become complacency.  When we forget that the world around us is changing all the time, we can live outside its happenings by living in our own box.  And yet, when we flow with the world as such, we can make a change for the better through our own efforts and thoughts.

No, I don't think "our box" is a way of complacency

I think we all, or at least most, feel our ups and downs, feel the change the community throw at us, share happiness and despair with friends and family, and so on.

BUT, even if we are in the same room, we can't feel the same
Even if we sit in the same room and watch TV, we haven't the same experience.

Let say we watch a Heart transplantation, one of us is a Heart doc, the other is one who specialty is to knit pullovers.

I am sure both watch carefully, one in great awe, one with the eye of the specialist who know every step of the program.

Then we put TV away, and then one who can knitting, take on her work.
I think we then get a turnaround of the reality of the work involved.

My box aren't black and secure, but more my Spirit, the one who makes me, where impulses comes both in and out, the reason for me to call it "box" at all, is that I think few or none experience the same Reality, even in same room, same time, same event, because our background is different...so also thought pattern, so also imagination..and on, and on.

I have mention it before, If a crowd watch an indecent, and police come, they have to interrogate many people to get the view, but if we all had the same reality, then it should be enough to just listen to one.

The less you listen to other, the more is your reality colored by your own stuck opinions, the more open you are, the more you listen, and discuss with other, the more input you get, the more balanced reality, again because you have more information stored, to put it up against, in your head.

But, but....its just my thoughts, and how I see it...no fact or science

Rhuto what if your mind was attached to 6 billion plus living minds? And what effect would that have on the observations that you have posted above?

I am going to answer those questions for you : You would make no changes in either one of your posts. The reason for this is because even with all that more more information you would still be right !

Based on my experience with that connection it is the way you said. And I "am" being honest with you. Cool posts! In my opinion
