Guys, I did abit of research on Hinduism as a religion
What I seem to have found out is that Hinduism is not a religion. Hinduism is not even an Indian (India) word. Hindu is a word that was created by the "West" that was ment to contain all of the old religions, that were active in India back in those old days, as one religion.
There is no such thing as the Hindu religion or the Hindu philosophy. None/nada.
Brahman's consider the spirit of Brahma the one and only God". Those that worship Vishnu and His Avatars/incarnations consider Him the one and only God. Those that worship Shiva/Siva and His avatars consider Him as the one and only God. Those that worship Kali consider Her the one and only God. And there are a lot of other Gods that are also worshipped and their folk that are serious consider them the one and only God.
And then we have many versions of mixtures of the above. But in these mixtures there is always only "one true God". The rest are either avatars (incarnations) or exalted beings.
Everybody in India actually worships, the "One true God" as the Christians and Moslems do, and in some cases as the Christians and Moslems do, they also appeal to other exalted beings.
Anybody ?
Welcome to Divine magik I hope that Suzi doesn't mind if I post this.
I love the Divine and the miracles that It works!
love,

there are deep rooted misunderstandings about hinduism as...these 'researches' etc are without the right perspective..But the answer to this and some earlier posts cannot be written here as it could become so long..perhaps it could be done in a chat.

I admit that the researcher was a western academic
Most folks that truely worship Siva consider him God and that everything is all just aspects of him.
Most people that worship Brahman (the spirit of Brahma) consider him God and that every thing else is just aspects of him.
You have claimed that everything is just an aspect of Krsna and that Krsna was God (Visnu) in physical form. Because of what you have written and posted I felt that what the academic wrote helped me to understand what you have written and posted. Which is why I was hoping to run this by you for your input. I am not Hindu, I am Christian and I do have a pretty good understanding of all versions of Christianity. And there are alot of versions and their God also walked in physical form and everything is also an aspect of Him.

Yes, it is true...the Vedantic view hold that the entire wholesome that we see..all this whatsoever that we see, hear in this unverse..inside and outside of it, resides God..and they themselves are God in their subtle form, just like earth makes different material, the subtle substance, the thej that forms all is he,he is the indweller of all of us.and more, in the most subtle form of us ,we are he himself..we ourselves at our core are krishna, budha, christ all in one...we and God are one..just like an a drop of occean is one with the occean itself. Vedanta speaks about Vidhya( absolute knowledlge) and avidhya (relative knowlege).the former perceives one with out a second...where the formless and all the forms are one and the same..which exists beyond existance and is the very existance itself..and is truly the very being of us and is as seen from here..
when we speak from the outer level, we percieve it as,the existance ,knowledge and bliss..this is the presence...the occean of love...a rest of 1 billion years experienced in a moment..that peace..that is how we can point to it from here. this is our essential nature.in our utmost core where we are all one and we ourself in our true state are God which is one..
it is in the ignorance that we see us as many.in our enlightened consciousness, we see all as one.
when such an enlightened person walks he is ever in joy, he may sleep in the most royal luxury or he may sleep outside with a stray dog..all in the same compassion. the most high celestial being and a wandering dog are one to him..he sees the same bliss everywhere..he loves all abundantly equally,he is love itself..the robbers, dacoits, man women all are alike to him..he sees everywhere God, experiences God, feels God, is God himself...such a soul when he walks in whichever body,is jeevanmuktha..he is God in full manifestation..he is krishna,he is shiva..he is christ..he is budha..he is.... and he is you and me..though we never know.
This unifying self of ours is bound by 7 layers. body, breath, mind, memory, intellect, ego and soul..when we cross six and reach 7th layer by any sadhana, thru any path..we reach the 7th layer where we know that all these are the same. and we all are one..and we in our essence is the true..existance knowlege and bliss.
such a person experiences every point in the universe as he himself and beyond. our notion of 'i' relates to this body only..when we pinch on our body we know..for an enlightened soul..all points are himself..he thus knows everything everywhere as his consciousness is everywhere.that is why when sage shri shuka was called, the plants hear the call....his consciousness pervaded everywhere.. it is in this sense that every enlightened soul has said.."i am the way" they never refered to their local body as the self..the 'I' they told is the true 'i' which is undivided and with out a second. however, anybody can take refuge in them seeing them in their bodies..as soon or later the knowledge shall come that this very body represents all forms and the formless too.
When gajendra worshipped nirgunabrahma (formlessness) mahavishnu in physical form came to rescue the devotee. Sages thus see formless and all forms as one.
there is a praver in our sandhyavandhanam that we recite everyday.
akasaath pathitham toyam yadha gachathi sagaram
sarva deva namaskara kesavam prathi gachathi
(as the water falling from sky flow thu many path and reach occean, so does every prayer ,any prostration to any form of God, reaches the one supreme himself")
mind has two faculties...synthesise and de synthesise,as my Guru use to say. When u do synthesis, u see the oneness..the same u can feel free to desynthesise and see..in different forms...beauty of myriad forms is in unity.
as there is no two...the brahman can assume any form, as sree ramakrishna paramahansa has told..as many religions are there as there are faiths..all will become true for the one the way he assumes..provided he is sincere.
think as krishna, see all as apects of krishna..it will be true to you., think as shiva and see all as shiva it will be true to you..in the end all will be true..it is krishna and all aspects of krishna and at the same time shiva and all aspects of shiva and so an..all the concepts converge at a point beyond all concepts..
as long as mind exists, concepts appear and go ..beyond mind..all are one.
research generally happening is data based, where as the yogic path of learning is cleansing the mind, purifying it, meditating and obtaining direct wisdom within oneself.
anyway, it was my laziness to write long, and a doubt whether,I could convey, what i want ,that made me say that we shall better chat, but your reply was so touching that immediately i am writing this..And all these words, our thought,writing..all are he, the intension behind them also he...and that knowlege we surrender unto him himself.
rest later, luv,sant

Sant I thank you most humbly for what you have written above. It is the same thing that Shiva taught me and is, based on my experience, what the real Hindu gift to mankind is. I felt that what you said needed to be said and that it needed to be said by a Hindu.
Again, thank you Sant for what you have written!
love,
sunny
