The only commonality in all religions is the golden rule. And even that is worded differently in each tradition.

Now that a blood sacrifice is no longer an accepted way to appeal to the Divine, you are right and what you have posted is a valid contribution to things and a gift. I am not sure that it applies to the Jewish religion, but then I do not know them that well

Morality is the theme of way of living which emphasises nonviolence,truth,love and other virtues..once the mind is cleansed through these principles...the eternal truth dawns on the mind.this is spirituality-this realisation.

I would just like to add that one can also be cleansed through/by giving the Divine a "Loving Hug" and the more the better.
