Thanks Dada, but I am too undisciplined to stick to the rhyme (and according to some -- also to reason! )

Hence I do not claim to write poety but as I have been once told: prosetry.

Context: It was a thank you note from a father in response to his child's words of appreciation on Father's day.

You may suck at couplets as I admittedly too at rhyming in meter
