Is physical death inevitable? There are accounts of physical bodies being translated if you choose to entertain the possibility. Christianity speaks of the rapture of the church (believers) in the last days. Anyways, that's not the topic but it is interesting though.

I believe that is partly true. I have seen some lost spirits, but they were only lost because they did not know they could go elsewhere, where as some refused to go elsewhere.

Maybe your experience also shows, we can't take it for granted what will happen. Just as powerful an experience as having seen something imho.

I entirely agree with you. Death is nothing but a Sweet Sleep and those you Die or are nearer to certain death experience that feeling. I have had that feeling on 6 occasions. The experience of Death relieves us of all our earthy pains and we feel relaxed but if you happen to come back to life then I am sure one would wish it was better he had died for that feeling is very good --- SWEET SLEEP.

I have a theory....Far be it for anyone to disbelieve anothers beliefs, who are we to say that they are wrong. I think that it is a lot more simple than that....Why have so many theories and beliefs in what happens if only one is true and certain. I think it is like religion, we choose what we believe is true and correct and believe in that. I think the same thing happens when we die. Whatever we think will happen to us, is in fact what happens to us. So those that think they are just dead, are just dead. The energies from them skatter and go back to the universe from which it came. Reincarnation believers will be reincarnated, etc etc.

But then again, that is just my belief
