Well....both dhav and tourbi have given good story to your task and I agree with them both.

I have chosen to take another approach to your question...."looks like....but do it give alike"

In our add driven society we have a lot of people who are driven by the need to look like their idols.
This create a good business for the idols..and merchants....but...it only create a big demand for the common people that try to buy them-self a belonging....use a lot of money....which don't produce anything what the "Idol" have....only more need and longing for success....that might have been avoid if one trusted oneself.

We have different sort of teachers......they all look alike in tittle.....some gives a lot of milk.....other should have tried another trade

We have lots of Priest....many gives "milk" from their heart that nourish their audience....other give hate from their own agenda and "false" comprehension of God's word.

This can go on and on....the word "cow" or "tittle" can be so many thing....we comprehend it as one.....but it seldom is

Have you heard of the term freegan? You might be interested in it. They are people who try to fight this ad/idol/belonging/money mentality by refusing to buy food and goods they can get free from dumpsters that are just as good as things you pay for.

Yes...the same is here.....but there is other ways to get good cloths without paying a half arm and two legs

Salvation army has taken over much of what shops and people waste.....the only thing is....you need to be price aware....because sometimes they themself believe they are selling an"Rembrandt" when it is only a kids "drawing".....said in resemblance and not for paintings in general.
