بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
"If you think you are behaving well then you are wrong, because seeing your own behavior as good is itself a form of pride."
- Ala'uddin al-Bukahri al-'Attar q.s. -
"Scholars and servants in the lower world are numerous but they don't benefit you unless you are engaged in the satisfaction of Allah's desire, and from morning to night are occupied with the deeds that Allah accepts."
- Abul Hassan 'Ali bin Ja'far al-Kharqani q.s. -
"Beware of hurting the hearts of (the true) Sufis. If you want their company, you must first learn how to behave in their presence. Otherwise you are going to harm yourself, because their way is a very delicate way. It is said, 'There is no place in Our Way for the one who doesn't have good manners.'"
- Ala'uddin al-Bukahri al-'Attar q.s. -
"The Sufi is not the one who is always carrying the prayer rug, nor the one who is wearing patched clothes, nor the one who keeps certain customs and appearances; but the Sufi is the one to whom everyone's focus is drawn, although he is hiding himself."
- Abul Hassan 'Ali bin Ja'far al-Kharqani q.s. -
"Love the friends of Allah in order that they will love you. Love his saints until they love you. Because Allah looks at the hearts of His saints and He will see your name engraved in the heart of His saints and He will forgive you."
- Tayfur bin 'Isa Abu Yazid al-Bistami q.s. -
"Whoever loves the pious believers sincerely, can receive invisible help and guidance from the saints;
Whoever loves the saints deeply, can receive invisible help and guidance from the Companions of the Prophet;
Whoever loves the Companions greatly, can receive invisible help and guidance from Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn;
Whoever loves them both dearly, can receive invisible help and guidance from the Prophet himself;
And whoever loves the Prophet completely, will receive the full blessing from HIM the Al-Mighty."
- Wiyoso Hadi al-Jawi al-Jakarti -
"You have to be at the level of the people around you and to hide your state from them, because the Prophet said, 'I have been ordered to speak with people according to what their hearts can contain.'"
- Ala'uddin al-Bukahri al-'Attar q.s. -
"For a believer to believe is easy. But to learn and to see clearly through the heart, it needs true love and pure intention."
- Wiyoso Hadi al-Jawi al-Jakarti -
"O people, you reached to a point that your knowledge is not enough to save you from that dangerous position, but yet you are trying to find a way with your mindly productions and you are not asking for someone who may be a perfect man that is in connection with spirituality, with Heavenly Beings! That is important now! People, till they are looking and asking a perfect man' and to be 'perfect' is not only with your physical body, no, a perfect one is he who is in full connection through his physical being to Heavens! And Allah Almighty is saying: 'Alaysa fikum rajulun Rashid? O people, you are not looking for a perfect mind people?' A perfect mind people means someone who is going to be in connection with Heavenly Stations. You must look for such a person! May Allah forgive us! O people, look for such a person! They are hidden now but if you are asking and saying 'Come, we are following you!' they may come! "
- As-Sayyid Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani al-Qubrusi q.s. -
Sincere warriors and lovers of the ONE are most hidden,
Anyone who can see them, will remember the ONE,
Anyone who remembers the ONE with pure heart, will see (know) them.
- Wiyoso Hadi al-Jawi al-Jakarti -
There is a Water that flows down from Heaven
To cleanse the world of sin by grace Divine.
At last, its whole stock spent, its virtue gone.
Dark with pollution not its own, it speeds
Back to the Fountain of all purities;
Whence, freshly bathed, earthward it sweeps again,
Trailing a robe of glory bright and pure.
This Water is the Spirit of the Saints,
Which ever sheds, until itself is beggared,
God's balm on the sick soul; and then returns
To Him who made the purest light of Heaven.
- Mawlana Jalal al-Din al-Rumi q.s. -
