Who is the devotee, a devotee of the master or of God?

Something cannot be given if it is not theirs to give. Shared maybe?

Hi Looking_Glass   A devotee is a seeker of God. A true master seeks not to promote himself or his attainments but teaches that God only should be worshiped and that he is only a conduit for some. It is only God who enlightens, although the prayers of a righteous man are often heard. lol

gotcha!

I am reminded of Paul of the bible who was forced to defend his apostleship to the hecklers when he said no man taught him the gospel. I suppose things haven't changed much. lol

You won't get a heckler out of me Lighting.

As for Paul, or you or others, there should be no need to defend ourselves if we are comfortable in our own skin?

But you're right..things haven't changed much. New technology, same old people.

Hi again Looking_Glass. Thank you, it is good to know. You make sense and there are times, when we must defend ourselves, not for ourselves, but for a higher purpose and you must play the hand your dealt. I know this was Pauls case. If you agree with me, we are one (smile) lol

if you don't we are still one (smile)
