Brahma becomes the three. Brahma, Vishnu, Siva, and how this translates is Creator, the Preserver and the destroyer or Changer to put it crudely. Vishnu (the Preserver) has a number of incarnations, of which Krishna's one, and Ram is one, and Buddha's one and so on. Ram is a perfect statement of Karma Yoga. He is the perfect father, the perfect husband, the perfect lover, the perfect friend. One of the holy books called Ramayana covers his story. Like other great holy books they are always written on a number of levels and you read at the level your ready to hear.

I really like the introduction to that book. Seems good. I really think I might find it and read it. We can all learn from the writings of other cultures. I am glad you posted something that helpful. Great!

Its always so with what ever books we read. Some chapters, narrations, incidents in a particular book impresses and appeals to us more . More so with a book like Ramayana, which is voluminous. Ultimately it depends on our pysche and perception.
