No I havent seen the movie but through my studies I have learned what all things are based in. I will look for the movie and watch it.
when I was doing my religious studies I did my thesis on the first 30 years of Jesus.. needless to say that my professor wasnt pleased
with the fact that jesus spent much of that time in Egypt... studying.. if you are a true seeker of knowledge .. you can find what you are looking for.
just cross refference it with other writings and make sure its truth.

I would suggest you research early Judiasm. It is where High Magic originated, and many of the rituals have been taken with a small change into the Catholic Rituals, such as the Eucharist. Ancient occult rites included the formation of the God into food and drink, and the consuming of it. Also, what do you think the priests did in the Holy and Most Holy? MAGIC! What were the Urim and the Thummim used in Moses time? Objects used for Divination!
High Magic, or the good kind, is used to grow closer to the Divine which resides in all of us.
