To those who want to know the future, why? Is it that you just want to know, or is there something you want to change?

It's rare that I want to know the future, or maybe I should say it's more that my curiosity to want to know or peak into it exists but I tend to push away the temptation. I learned a very long time ago that although you may know your future, for some, knowing it can tend to dictate around the future and missing the present all together. And a lot of people do not realize that although at this particular moment this is your future, everything is subject to change. So why focus on something that has not happened yet? We have no control over others free will, just like God cannot interfere with free will, which can alter the future and never happen at all.

It is my opinoin that once we know the future we have already changed it (If you know that you will lose your purse on a given date, then you will take more care or not go out shopping on that date, therfore altering the future prediction made). There is an abundance of events happening to each and every one of us on a daily basis. Surely it would be best to deal with these events and not dwell on what might or might not happen tomorrow. Through our lives we are faced with many lessons needed to be learned; patience is just one of them. Things will happen in their own time. I do not need to know my future, I am enjoying living the life I have today. What tomorrow brings, who knows! but I will deal with that tomorrow.
