Even if we might believe that a short description might help us understand, it does not....at least not in a such an important subject as Vedic.
If you are genuine in your try to understand...then please attend the free course in Vedic here on the site, and I think some books would be good too.
To little information, and to big self-confidence can make more damage then you could imagine...so it is always best to study, if you want to know and understand how thing works.
