As a father the Sagittarius father is not sufficiently detailed in the supervision of their children, and he often appears to be disinterested. They remain too occupied with the world to look after or take keen interest in the activities of their children. They often leave it for their mothers to handle the home front and deal with the off springs.

However the Sagittarius father feels very proud when his child fares well and then only feels it his duty to give further encouragement for the childâ€™s welfare. They completely depend on their wives to bring up the children.

This does not fit with my experience. Sagittarian fathers may be more comfortable with older children, but they make wonderful teachers and coaches encouraging the child to stretch their muscles both physically and mentally. Although they can be autocratic they also encourage freedom, curiosity and independence. Of course like all signs you will find those unevolved souls who haven't grown up enough to parent anyone. Every sign has both good and bad examples.
