This rune means the “harvest”. In other words “you reap what you sow”, the fruits of your efforts of hard work are seen now. There is gradual change in life and time is the key. At also indicates increase in fertility. This may be the start of a new life. It indicates the coming to end of a complete cycle in life.

Reversed:
This rune is non reversible and has to be read with the surrounding runes.

Merkstave:
There may be sudden set backs. This may be a bad time for starting some new venture.

This is a great rune and I am not just being bias as this is my birth rune apparently.  It alway reminds me of summer as I am from the southern hemisphere, of summer fruits, the end of a year and the expectation of the new year to come.

Jera is a good rune.  It was its appearance in a recent runecast that convinced me to accept a role as Rune Mod on M-B.  Definitely encouraging for the reasons you say.
