The meaning of the rune is “cattleâ€� or the main livelihood of the tribe. It is a positive rune which also means material gain, new financial   opportunities and success. It recommends people to distribute gifts freely if they wish to be prosperous. In other words, people should share their wealth and not be selfish. Good time to invest in buying and selling.
It also increases intuitive abilities, increases the depth of knowledge and brings more focus into your life.
This rune may be linked to Frey or Freya thus making it a strong omen for fertility. This rune should never be taken lightly.

Reversed or Merkstave:
When reversed it means stagnation, infertility and loss or failure. With a positive rune it indicates a delay. With a negative rune, it is better to give up the project undertaken.
