I never really use incense and I absolutely never use a cloth and i still receive very accurate readings. The readings that always wow you.

What my question is for you people is, what benefits have you actually seen when you cleanse your runes?

Is the energy stronger? Does it let you concentrate less?

honestly, I've never cleansed my runes and they've served me just perfectly. But I DO think it brings you closer to your runes and dont think it's a bad idea by any means. DO what you feel is right for you and you cant go wrong.

I just love the way the energy feels when I cleanse them with incense
but glad to hear i don't have to do that! It's a pain and I get in trouble for lighting them... lol thanks (:

Stephy you can use fragrance, spray perfume into the air and rune the runes through it before it falls to the ground, or light, sunlight is good, or bells, or reiki. There are many ways to cleanse without using smoke or incense

bells? I have a bell in the garage (I'm actually practicing my runes right now, surprisingly I believe for the first time I was able to put runes together and stuffs i'm so proud!!!)

And I would assume fire would work too. does the color of the candle make a difference
and how long you hold the rune there for - do you believe that makes a difference?
I have used the sun before, i have also buried my runes in the dirt.
I may have used the moon, idk, but I know I use the moon for many things.
And and uhmmm do you believe the different energies make a different difference?
If so, what kind?
